Spending time at home due to the pandemic has greatly affected and changed our everyday lives. Family time has stimulated people's senses, attuning us to a better awareness of our surroundings which has ultimately enhanced the importance of interior design. Jericho, a city always known for its villas, has recently attracted many families to invest and develop new projects allowing the real estate market to greatly flourish. Not only was the pandemic responsible for new families undertaking  the purchase of homes in Jericho, but it also allowed families who had for many years owned real estate and properties to contemplate some upgrades. It was now time to upgrade their vacation homes to better adapt to their growing families and their ever-changing lifestyles and demands.

The request to redesign the shared space of the Khweis Villa was at first extremely intimidating. Our clients' inherent fascination with Armenian tiles and patterns was the ultimate cause of our intimidation and trepidation. But, as with any projects we consider, we accepted the challenge and we were ready to tackle it head-on. Luckily, we were able to integrate the beautiful Armenian textures and patterns into our design ideas and concepts. This allowed us to "break out of our comfort zones" and ultimately lead to the creation of magazine-worthy content and material.
